Humility Poem by Mohammad Siddiqui

Humility

She said; God humbles us all, at many a turn
In end, body is laid under ground or burnt for urn

Humility is first lesson taught by Beloved to learn
We are speck in universe as transient mortal sojourn

God humbles us with health, sorrow and death spurn
Be patient; As tribulation strengthens soul for return

God takes nothing from us without giving us better discern
Readying us for return to place of no sorrow and no yearn
