Human Symptoms Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Who does give all direction?
Lead us to believe in all actions
Why hunger is felt immediately?
Why anger rushes on face readily?

These are all human symptoms
They are missed seldom
No one can claim to be free
From these sentiments or try to flee

It is bonded together
With our thinking and feature
In all our dealings with fellow brethren
How to come over it is only our concern

Human lust is most dangerous
Greed is considered and known as very famous
Person can go to any extent to realize goal
He may try to forget moral values or respond to evil’s call

We are called human
That includes man and woman
Children too act sometimes act selfish
We try to meet their demands and finish

Despite all these, we are sensible
We have an ability to come out of troubles
We can resist and greed or temptation
As we are bound by human relation

Think for a moment of all
Who may prefer always to respond same call
World may not survive for a second
Some one has to be honest and kind
