Howling Hounddog Lady Poem by Charles Pevy

Howling Hounddog Lady

Rating: 5.0

When my hounddog's barking his bark
I know he's got something treeed
and whatever it is, whatever it is
I know it would rather be free

I heard a lady talking her talk
and I think she's looking at me
whatever it is whatever it is
I know I would rather be free

So if you ever hear howling hounddog lady
but you want be free
whatever ever you do, whatever ever you do
don't stop to climb a tree

Just keep on running, keep on running
from that howling hounddog lady
don't listen to the Howling Hounddog Lady
if you want to be
