How Ordinary I Am!
Handle me as you handle
An egg or a piece of glass
If you break me
Either you can get a yoke
Or shards
Do not step over me
You will either
Make me useless
Or cut your feet
So take care of me
As you take care of you
It does not matter
How powerful you are
And I am ordinary
Hands upon hands
Those very common
And clenched fingers
With veins, tight
Can make a fist
Harder than a hammer
So treat me
as you treat yourself
no matter
how ordinary I am
but I have enough power
in my fragile shells or shards
to make you powerless
A powerful poem about how we should treat others. A good powrrful write
A Great Write! However ordinary a man may be, he has immense potential and strength within, if properly harnessed! So each one has to be treated with due respect. 'Do unto others as you would like others done unto you' is a golden principle! !
