How May I Die Poem by Joseph Walden

How May I Die

Oh whiskey river,
time rushing by,
the is is again,
pushing out surprise.
fool!
'This is life! '

Justice seeks honesty,
just found that out,
when the cork broke off,
my thoughts did not take off,
because minutes ago,
I remember feeling and thinking and realizing
no more!

The cork looks paralized,
or is it I,
dangling,
in the whiskey,
of the bottle.
