How great life is when shame has gone
When forth God sends His Light
When love’s revealed through Christ God’s Son
And darkness takes its flight

How great life is when God plants seed
When love begins to root
When water dampens every need
And Heaven sees sweet fruit

How great life is when hearts entwine
When souls in faith agree
When Heaven’s Light begins to shine
And eyes begin to see

Oh Lord my God how blessed am I
How wonderful I feel
I run I jump I laugh and cry
Knowing that You are real

You are The Lord You’re Heaven’s King
Maker of all I see
You are the source of everything
That was and is to be

You’re Fire surrounding Heaven’s throne
The Only Way on high
The Love that melts a heart of stone
The Lamb who chose to die

You are my Guide You are my Goal
Life’s Wine and Living Bread
The precious Saviour of my soul
And Lifter of my head

I’m blessed my God and so much more
I’m loved I’m saved and free
I’m blessed to know life’s living Door
Has opened wide for me
