How Far The Footsteps Of Spring Poem by Luo Zhihai

How Far The Footsteps Of Spring

★ How far the Footsteps of Spring

☆ Poetry by Wang Huaiwen (China)
☆ Translation by Luo Zhihai (China)

Fragrant
The chrysanthemum of seasons
Unbearable frosting wind and cold rain
Disappeared into brilliant once
A sadness or sorrow, which cannot express
Climbed up the tips of brows
In my eyes
The world seemed to fade
Once again lost its luster

A pot of tulips
Quietly in bloom
Lighted up the bleak windowsill
Woke up my eyes
Sweet smell, weak
Diffused through the vicissitudinous window frames
Diffused on my fingertips
I seemed to smell
The breath of spring

Listening with bated breath
Standing the window of season
The footsteps of spring
How far
