House Of Calm And Space Poem by Tom Thompson

House Of Calm And Space

In this Old House
You broke in
Slept and Ate
Took only calm and space

When I came to that House
Of calm and space
I found your wet socks
And well traveled blankets

With wooden floorboards creaking
Talking to that sleepy sun
I put your clothes outside
And took with me that calm and space
