Hospital Emotions Poem by JoAnn McGrath

Hospital Emotions

Rating: 5.0

Hospital Emotions
Anticipation
hopes awaited
unexpected obviation

Cogitating calculations
weary weighted
contemplations

Unforseeing stimulation
infiltrating
hearts syncopation

Animating fluctuations
lost translated
time sedation's

Punctuated speculations
waning worries
renunciations

COMMENTS OF THE POEM
... Sheila 25 April 2007

I identify all to readily with this, seeing as my son was rushed to the hospital only a week and a half ago. I can still see all the machines and hear all the noises and whispers and feel the worry, just as I did while reading this poem. You got it all down, for sure. Good writing.
