Oh, how I remember so well
Back when I was a child
Country life out on the farm
Cats both tame and wild

They seemed to always know
When it was dinner time
Climbin' on the old screen door
As Mom's food they tried to find

Horses at all stages of growth
Oh, what fun we had
A lot of years have passed now
It kind of makes me sad

Grasshoppers in the summertime
Climbing on the ‘ole fence post
It is just another thing that
Stands out for me the most

I'll bet you too have memories
That are etched forever in your mind
Horses, cats and country
Are precious memories that I find!
