Horse And Water Story Poem by Pasquale DiMeola

Horse And Water Story

There's a perversity in diversity
For those always seeking to rearrange
Reshuffling all races and faces
Rabid allegiance for the sake of change

Forming a committee to take pity
Moreover who to delegate to steal
Cash the tilly to wage on a filly
Plastic surgery for public appeal

A filibuster lacking no luster
The universal clap of pattycake
Sharing the grain while caught in the rain
Grand eugenics of DNA milk shake

All the while it just takes a smile
Eliminate the barriers and walls
Nuclear love bomb spearheading the calm
What garden of earthly delight still calls.
