Hopes Of Happily Ever After Poem by Mpho Nkadimeng

Hopes Of Happily Ever After

The spirit of my past
They spat you back from your shallow grave
With their words of resentment they laid you back to life
I’m redeemed now by your anger that was forever at last
Now forever is soon to rent out their time
In sounds of their dripping blood you shall dance
And the fading beats of their dying heart shall be their last lullaby
No tears of innocent souls shall halt your rage
No monotonous screams of a teary infant shall strip your undying will
Rise now and eat their dawn moulded by their blood petals that had long cloaked their blood pipes
Drink sip and enjoy the juicy ravishing colour of mortals
And when you are done
Blast more of your will till dawn is no more.
