Hope Sustains Life
A time comes when you hear a desolate wail,
You find a night that never vanishes,
You find a day that never comes,
The good will that never happens,
And the demons when fly over our skies.
That time the hands conjure themselves,
And the lips whisper in their most quivering way;
With the unswept tears falling down,
Asking for a bit of endurance and the ultimate satisfaction.
And knowing that you are completely helpless,
Still surviving on those trembling breaths.
That's why they say;
Hope Sustains Life,
In your unconscious depths.
