Honeyed Salmon Poem by Elia Michael

Honeyed Salmon

I had salmon glazed with honey
It was wild and red and so fresh.
I spent a lot of my money
But taste and firmness of the flesh
Was such that every penny
That I did spend, I'd spend afresh.

But the next time I'd use honey
That is thick and not so runny.
