Homeward Bound Poem by Steven SRS

Homeward Bound

Rating: 4.8

I am a nomad coming home,
A wanderer with no place lest to roam.
I am a warrior homeward bound,
An eagle coming down.

I've been through the fire and put to the test.
I've fought all my battles and accomplished my quest.
I've proved to myself that I am the best,
No longer plagued by strife,
I now have peace in my life.
I'm headed home now, home where I'll rest.

This feels a great deal like a piece written on the front of one's shield, battle-scarred and worn. Like the beginning of a hymn of battle. Well written.

This poem fits so snuggly with the other warrior-knight-quest themes. I think you are an old reincarnated Knight and Ninja. Love that word, nomad. It always eludes me when I am searching for the needed word. LOL.
