Homesick For Heaven*
Heaven,
A world of wonders
Golden stairs
Pearly gates
Soothing music
Ethereal melodies
Complete bliss
Delight
angels and cherubim
eternal joy and peace
Earth,
Homesick heart
in a perpetual state
Of culture shock
cold winter
humid summer
stressful autumn and
just a short period of spring
Heaven,
I’m now homesick for heaven
It is better than this world’s Eden
heaven,
is my oasis, my real haven
