Homeless Poem by samantha mogridge

Homeless

What would you do if you was me,
Stuck on the outside but wanting to set free,
Sleeping on newspapers, sleeping on books,
Hurtful jibes, dirty looks,
Sympathetic amounts of money,
Laughing, joking, thinking its funny,
Wondering where I will sleep tonight,
Sleeping, in the dark in freight,
What would you do if you was me,
Stuck on the outside but wanting to set free.
