Home But You'Re Not There Poem by Kieran J1996

Home But You'Re Not There

I'm coming home,
Though I know you're not there,
I wish you were,
Maybe then I'd care,

I'm gonna take pictures,
Lot's of them too,
Of where we played, lived as well,
Best friends, just me and you,

I've got some great mates,
I bet you knew I would,
I wish I might see you again,
If possible I really would,

I bet you're no different,
Great friends the same,
You probz don't even feel,
The longing burning pain,

Guess you've moved on,
I have in a way,
But I think of our lives in Cyprus,
All and every single day,
