    I found this tweedy in the first stanza (personal taste) but the second stanza it came into it's own with thought provoking truths. (Report) Reply

    A man may buy a house, but its the woman who turns it into a home with love, sacrifice, hard chores to put the home in order. So {Home} & {Love} are the prerogative of the woman who has tied up with the man to start a family.Its true these two important words_____ Homa & Love are interconnected. Simple byut beautiful poem.

    I have a thick card with the poem Home and Love although it stops at Than home and love. By Robert W Service the front has two trees with a road leading to two homes. Its black and white on the back written in pencil says 1868

    Very nice that he was able to identify these two words out of all of them.
    Personally, I agree that these are the two most 'complete' words out there - purely in their feeling and uncompromising, agreeable adoration. (Report) Reply

    I enjoy the subject of the poem and the basic idea behind each of the lines, but I feel like it could've been worded better. (Report) Reply

    Home without Love is bitterness;
    Love without Home is often pain....
    honest words from the depth of a loving heart... (Report) Reply

    Home is where love resides and love is the place of home and there is no doubt about it! They are more than heaven indeed! (Report) Reply

Mingle its crimpled leaves with furze and ling,
While the old heron from the lonely lake
