Home Again Poem by Ronald Chapman

Home Again

As I stand in front of you,
Looking at a beautiful view,

Your silhouette seems so familiar to me,
Looking at a Miracle in front of me,

Closing my eyes,
I think, is this but only a dream?

I have misty memories of you,
From so very long ago,

Everything feels very familiar,
I missed many chances to be with you,
I let them just pass by,

I was afraid the red thread, that connected,
our hearts broke and let me go,

I felt lost in this life,
Until other Souls brought me
Back home to you,

I have nothing to give up but my life for you,
I don't want to be lost again,

While wiping away my tears from my eyes,
I am happy; to be back home.
