Swallowed up by fears.
Swallowed up by shadows.
I wish you were here
To take me home.
Home to where we were together.
Home to where we would never fight.
Home to where you are.
Home to where everything was right.
I want to come home.
I want to be with you.
I don't want to be here.
I don't know why you won't come.
Why, you won't take the fears.
Don't you hear my call
To get rid of the pain
From the depths of my soul?
To get rid of the shame
That clings to my heart?
To get rid of the hurt
Where my life has been marred?
Why won't you come
And take me home
To where my heart is,
To where I belong?
