Holloween Party Poem by Narayana Raghavan

Holloween Party

Peeping through windows and howling
witches danced in circles prowling
drinking from skull and sucking milk
black cats mewed and skewed in silk

goblins with their dangling earlobes
scratched dead to devour meatballs
vampires and creepy zombies
spewed blood and brayed like donkeys

Trick or treat, greedy piggy daddy
yelled in advance daughter Maddy
Jack-o-lantern grinning like bunny
