you say that,
you want a kiss.
but your love is flat.

you promise
to love me forever
then i hear a 'hiss'
and it is never

'youre the one'
you say.
but youre gone
the next day

you say you love me
and you will never leave.
you make me think he
is why i grieve

you pick
my best friend over i.
my body begins to tick
as if the end is nigh

i tried to keep up with you
and follow your cords.
i wish it wasnt true
that you used hollow words
