Holiday Get Together



sun so brightly lit today
tempting frozen swings
to go for it besides parties
ha! i can't leave this people
i have to listen to their stories
how are they faring with life

i have lots of stories to tell
pitch in, might be interesting
while coronas are chilling,
bbq sizzling, soup bubbling
visitors are trickling with gifts
i could sing for goodness sake
