Holding On Poem by Lizelle 'Leasel' Martins

Holding On

It's been days, weeks, no months
After all these years
You all I think about
I miss you

I miss you when we not talking
I miss you when we are talking
I miss having you around
I miss the sound of your voice
I miss your smile, your laughter

We have drifted apart
But I am holding on
Holding on with bleeding hands
Hoping that one day, you would turn around
Turn around and caress my face
Hold my hands, embrace me
Feeling your heart beat against mine
The sound of you breathing
Your warm breath against my cold skin

I miss having you around
I miss you each and everyday
