Holding Hands Poem by Michael Peterson

Holding Hands

Hand in hand we walk together
thru the streets, to the park, thru the stores
young and old always look
how the love still grows
closely we walk, so tightly we hold
never to let go, always together
showing love, living life
like teens in love we giggle
because we are to old to hold hands
to show our love to the young
it's silly and more filly
to be so old, still in love
like when we were so young
holding hands watching the sun go down
we're never to old to be young in love
walking to the sun, enjoying the fun
holding hands with love
