Hold Poem by Nur Danial

Hold

Rating: 5.0

Your smile captivates me,
a moth to a ceiling light.
Entice, what spell have you cast unto me?

Your gentleness, warms me,
Snuggle in this imaginary bed,
How I long to cuddle up.

Hold me, I want to feel safe
For this treacherous world
Is nothing but full of diseased men

Machine men, machine minds and machine hearts,
Tell me dear, are they not cattles?

Come close, Is that the beat of your heart I hear?
It's been a while since I felt human.

A deep feeling of love beautifully depicted in this lovely poem. I like the articulation of the piece as it captured the strong feeling of love from the heart. A nice piece of poetry, do keep it up and thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
