Hitler's Birthday Poem by A. P. Herbert

Hitler's Birthday

There'll always be a Hitler
Beside the silver Spree
If Germans are such silly sheep
As Germans seem to be:
There'll always be a Hitler
To worry you and me
Until we take the German race
And dump it in the sea.
(Sung to the tune There'll always be an England)
April 23, 1944
