Hit By Lightning Poem by Stan Petrovich

Hit By Lightning

Needless to say
It came in a flash.
My feet took the brunt;
My hair caught fire;
My heart came up my throat.
I gained the wisdom of Socrates
And the rest.
So, on hands and knees,
In respiratory distress,
I shook it off.
And went to a variety store
And bought a set
Of little plastic
Dinosaurs.

Needless to say you deserved it! (joking) ...what's worse physical pain or emotional pain? ....Have fun with your dinosaurs at least they can't answer back and question and pester you...-SG
