His Life Poem by Justine Damalerio

His Life

Abandoned hopes that seem to convict me
on a life that was filled with sorrow.
Evening time starts to crawl on my mind
morning was there with tears to see light.
Bells them ringing I hear all winds
directions from what I see
within a truth of my own reality.
Deep down to my soul time speaks
to my future on today’s it awaits.
On what I know in this world people needs growing
but beneath this gloom me self is drowning.
There where paths on a day that I will know
darkness in my life that I will see on what it shows.
My lamentation and grief, which was I only have
I can’t remember promises it all fades in my memory.
Upon the skies of my wishes nothings was cleared
hopes that were shattered by anxiety I shared.
The self of mine had fell and I was darkened
blinded by fear, my gloom now in life it frightens.
Things have become real on the reality that I chose
but I know myself more how my darkness tells me.
