His Last Days Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

His Last Days

She called him” terrible teaser”
But named as an honest lover
Who promised everything under sky?
He kept on with his earnest try

She was stubborn and adamant
Never gave nod for his request
He remained sad and gloomy
She always remained stormy

He preferred his wings to fly
And relentlessly preferred to feel shy
The sky seemed to him as endless
So was the cause for his sadness

It was not her fault
As mind was shaky and not well built
She remained at far island
He also did not move out and loved his motherland

She was hearty and hale
And performed well
But did not commit
To go further and greet

He feared his last days
Tried his best to find the way
But she refused to budge
There was no one to judge?
