His Kingdom By The Sea Poem by Natasha Foster

His Kingdom By The Sea

Rating: 5.0

It was long ago when He and She
lived in this Kingdom by the Sea,
But He left it to me,
And gracious, I'll be
when I see His Kingdom by the Sea.

But in His Kingdom by the Sea, I hear
Strange things and fear
That my life's no longer dear to He,
The one who left me His Kingdom by the Sea.

And one day I heard
No more singing from the bird
That chirped a cheerful tune
In reverence to the Moon.

And His Kingdom by the Sea
is the only place I'll be
When dew is on the leaves
and my soul forever grieves.
