His House Poem by olubunmi lawal

His House

I went there today
I saw many of them
Flesh and spirit
The messenger making message
Words falling on failing ears
The gods are around
But the people are absent
Pretending to be present
Prayer were answered
Double minded beggars
Begging from the greatest giver
Clothed with peacock
If men were God
There would be a new heaven
Am so glad
God still hears a sinners prayer.
