Hindsight serves a cue to foresight.
Insight takes it to a good sight.
Hindsight is generous or dismissive,
Depending upon one's motive in it.

The vested interest might influence
The hindsight in politics, with no regard
To the public interest that results
In man-made sufferings to the subjects.
