*highways Of A Town Called Life

Rating: 2.7

We met halfway in the winding roads
in the highways of a town called LIFE
you fell in my stride, my eyes became yours
the twilight above, our feet the sound of jive
I knew I'd live in this town
every minute there with you.

Halfway in the highways of a town called LIFE
seasons changing, frosty distant and howling winds
with each variable changing, you were my constant drive
we braved, sailed and even learnt to laugh at our corny feet
I knew I'd walk on in this town
every where there with you.

Highways seasons changing, frosty distant and howling winds
we sailed and forgot to laugh past our bruised feet
the twilight a haze, the jive muted, winding roads winning
we become variables in one constant dark pit
still I know I love in this town
no one there but you.
