Hiding Poem by The Queen's Dagger

Hiding

Rating: 5.0

You have let me taste
what I ran from with haste.
You have corrupted my mind
and made me think that everything's fine.

I will paint a smile
on my world wearied face.
I will look at this like it is nothing,
like I can just move on,
but I can't.

I have tried to lie,
tried to cover up what is really inside.
And every time I hide,
you look upon me with pride.
