Hiding Poem by hema thasapalan

Hiding

I found myself
staring at myself at the mirror
asking myself who am I
where i have been
I told myself
hiding from reality
and I realised
we only see what we want to see
hiding does not resolve a problem
only to make it temporary unavailable to view
an ignored flaw
only makes it grow
an ignored flaw creates more problems
in multitude ways and complexity
I told myself to stop hiding
accept myself as God's wonderful creation
I am worthy of life
I am worthy of His love
