Hideout Poem by Radhika Karia

Hideout

I woke up in the morning,
to fight the skies again,
i woke up not knowing,
i will be fighting away the pain.

the days seemed too weary,
and the roads to places were long.
till you held me close for once,
and that's where i wanna belong.

Baby, lets find our hideout...
where happiness doesn't take too long,
lets make something perfect,
where my heart can't do you wrong.

i have lost my way before,
and you have lost yours too,
our hearts slipped from their hands,
our expiry was long due.

I feel a little insecure,
Cause I've been wrong before.
If only we can ride together,
I wouldn't have to worry anymore.

So, Baby lets find our hideout...
where happiness doesn't take too long,
lets make something perfect,
where my heart can't do you wrong.

the storm seems to settle now,
and the calmness is a little scary,
i feel like we have been looked after,
by a special friendly fairy.

eternity isn't what i am after,
and love..i can't yet explain,
but if you have a little faith left,
i promise to not cause you pain.

So, Baby lets find our hideout...
where happiness doesn't take too long,
lets make something perfect,
where my heart can't do you wrong.

i see a lighthouse,
not too far away from here,
we can always run to it,
when the head is filled with fear.

in sands of time and losses,
we have seen alot,
walking on the heaven's beach,
another chance we have got.

So then, Baby lets find our hideout...
where happiness doesn't take too long,
lets make something perfect,
where my heart can't do you wrong.
