where did this all go wrong?
and i honesty don't know how long,
i can't hide these scars from you
always and forever
the blister will eventually show through
and we'll pray for whatever
knowing love is stolen by a thousand thieves
and mean while i wear these long sleeves
to conceal my shame and pain
so that prying eyes won't see
as i feel the blade intrude into my veins
please, please just leave me be
the hurt will only grow
because then you will finely know
how weak and pathetic
i really am
thinking i'm a freak
it's almost prophetic
