Yes, all of your 3 examples of people from whom you'd hide ring true. I've hidden, the 1st example you cite is the one I remember most. As Thomas comments below, I think most of us can relate to this poem.

This is something which I feel most of the time.But I could not put it in writing like you clearly taking a pic of my mind. Really great Ivy regards
