Repetition, repetition
oh the irony
with a lovely, cynical twist
I can analyze all I want
but by the look in your eyes
theres no need

this situation of dependence
has made all else irrelevant

I feel the need to breathe

the immensity of my feelings
created the illusion
that independently I could survive
but without conscience
whats left?

consequences of my actions
have crashed upon me

the mercy I've expected as my due
has left me graceless

and the love that took me back
has left me with scars
