Liliana EL.

Hey, Floating

So many friends
They're so connected
So related
Known each other for their whole lives
I have only known them for this limited 15 month time
I've been a floater
I'm okay
I'm kind of lost
Moving around
Charging forward, dropping back
Deciding who to sit with
A set friend group
Room for me?
It doesn't seem so
That's okay
There's plenty of others who entertain me
Intellectuals, jokers, musicians, and shoppers
Culturally different
At least somewhat, it seems

Going on
Taking on another day
Float around
Take a stand
Find my way
Set my path
Determined for my identity
