Here It's Yet Again-The Rain Poem by Farheen Viquas

Here It's Yet Again-The Rain

Sitting inside my cocoon
Watching rain fall
Wishing to accompany the rain to rejoice time together
The water gushing the aisle, I think of my childhood times
When my parents made paper boats and I put them over the waters
The raindrops on the grills near my window
The sound of the rain and its texture
Take me back to my school
Where, I sat looking outside the window

The spirit, feel, and the air
Invite me to add memories to what it gave me years ago
Birdie wallows in a puddle
The leaves more greener, the washed up look
The air has that cool effect
Rhythmic raindrops singing in a choir
Clouds say bye and leave the scene
It was so hard before the rain
Now, softens and seeps inside that’s soil

Imbibed a lesson
Let your life be a season
Where elements interact with one another
To refresh, regain, nurture to grow, and make others’ blossom
Live and to let live is what we don’t forget
Learning while enjoying is the key to go forward
Burble, sogginess, and coolness in the weather
Tea, piping hot snacks, and soft music
With the weather I now start to sing along.
