Here I Am Poem by Corrine Andros

Here I Am

These tears fall because of you,
And all of the wretched things you tend to do,
Everything you do you keep on smiling like an angel,
But I'm scared for your life,
Because you are creating a terrible strife.

Here I am mom,
And there you go,
Leaving me again,
So cold and lost in a deep snow,
But you'll come back for me won't you mom,
Because you're too scared you'll get your toy put in a new home,
But I know you hate me,
This is true,
But things won't change,
So I've got to push and fight through.

I still love you mom,
Please come get me,
Bring me home.
