Her smile
transported me to

the. far reaches
of heaven


Her laughter

a balm for my weary soul
burdened with life's many sorrows,

her eyes
twin pools of
a deep and abiding love

burnt into my
very psyche

to rejuvenate
and refresh my
tired and weary mind

Just her thoughts
in my
dreams

bought a wonderful peace
to my agitated and
restless mind

and
I rested,

Slept deeply
the sleep
of a hopeful love

to awaken
looking forward in
eager anticipation

and
a new beginning
