Her Room Poem by Colin Pickett

Her Room

Solace in tea,
vapors of places
beyond her.
She is set stone.

The sanctuary guards her;
her mentor and bed.

It covers her mind,
and in its womb
she waits.

Beyond,
the sun lies
for her. Lying
about matter.

The sanctuary
illuminates the
small difference
betwen
light and sin.

The eyes can
only see both.
