Her Radiant Beauty Poem by Faith Elizabeth Brigham

Her Radiant Beauty

Rating: 5.0

She flys by sultry
as an egyptian queen
catching us by surprise
her two-tone colored wings
fluttering as she
lightly touches down
upon the lantana bush
gracing it with all
of her radiant beauty
as she brings with her
the early signs of
spring into the dawn
of its first day
at last she comes
the precious butterfly
to help us welcome spring

Butterflies make a lovely subject for poems, and I love this one. Sincerely Ernestine. Thanks for your comments on my attempts.
