Her Child Poem by Benjamin David

Her Child

Petrified child, low and behold
gracing life's lullaby, story retold

Repentant tears, shrouded in safety
holding bear tightly, supple, hasty

The seam starts to tear, wadding forsaken
the healing begins, love's now craven
