Her Battle Poem by Ashley Andersonsmith

Her Battle

If you seen her you would think her life was perfect.
She looks like she has it all together, she has friends and family who love her.
She has material things but if you look deep inside her you will notice the pain she hides inside.
She smiles on the outside, she laughs with friends, but behind closed doors she fights a battle inside her self.
She takes pills and drinks to try to get rid of the pain, but she has become immune to them. They helped for awhile but not anymore, and she cant stop because she is addicted now.
She is battling something no one could ever imagine.
She wouldn't wish this pain on anyone not even her worst enemy.
She has panic attacks daily but she is so use to them, they only thing she cant get use to is the way people stare or judge her.
They say she can control her own happiness, she tries her best but it eats her alive.
She is scared to tell anyone how she feels and what she goes through cause she is afraid she will just be a burden on them.
She hates to admit it but she is dealing with...depression.
