Help Me Stand Again

  I begin to fall
I can't seem to find a grip
I slide, slide against the wall
I try to stand but, stumble and trip
It's too much, too much for me to take
And in this all, I am to take fault
All emotions crashing down; I begin to break
Words, words they are used against me like assult
I try, I tried with all my might
But I have gotten no where
No where but here, this cold November night
I am fragail and I will tear
But, I will try to live
Live in this world that seems not to care
I feel like nectuar in a sieve
I need solid ground; care to share?
I need to stand again
Help me stand again

Hi Amber - Nice poem - Rhyme and Rhythm and an interesting cri de coeur!
'I begin to fall..........And in this all, I am to take fault'. 'All emotions crashing down..................... But I have gotten no where'. In the injustices of life we all feel like that sometime. There does seem to be some resolve to get back on track - this is positive! 'I will tear' 'But I will try to live' even in a world that does not seem to care about me! I like your similie - beacause Nectuar is a liquid it goes straight through the seive and all your attenpts to get back on SOLID GROUND slip away from you! ..The last few lines give hope! I need solid ground - care to share - I need to satnd again - help me to stand again! On feature of the lovely Poemhunter Family is that we seek to help where we can we all help each other to stand! As you say Poetry allows us to express our emotions and Poemhunter allows us to post our poems for comment and scoring. I have enjoyed the pathos in this poem and we are there for you if you need us! I score it a MAX. Love in poetry - JOHN.
